Juanita Wynne Gaber is a self-taught seamstress who began experimenting with fabric at the age of ten. By the time she was 13 years old, she was creating her own clothes and later fine-tuned her skills by meticulously studying designer clothing. Her perfectionist tendencies and attention to detail polished her abilities so that she was soon creating her own masterpieces. Long before she began sewing professionally in 1999, she was unable to find self-satisfaction with her creations until every detail had been attended to.
This perfectionism has allowed Juanita to become an expert in alterations of all types of formal wear, business wear and casual wear for both men’s and women’s clothing, but her specialization is in wedding and bridesmaid gown alterations. Her custom work for men’s and women’s fashions also includes formal, business and casual wear. Custom-made bridal veils are also available.
Juanita has very high standards and takes great pride in her workmanship. Juanita uses state of the art equipment and maintains environmental standards that ensure your garments are fresh and clean, smoke free, and allergen free. She is able to offer specialty fabrics custom-ordered to meet the client’s expectations and preferences.
Juanita genuinely cares about each garment she creates or reshapes, wanting each piece to be unique and beautiful and a trademark of her craftsmanship. She doesn’t consider herself to be in the garment manufacturing business but rather in the business of making people look and feel great.
